Use the Section identifier and Lot number from the St James Cemetery Grave Marker Index to find the grave marker transcription and family information on neighbouring markers. Please note that many individuals were buried without markers–and despite our best efforts, some markers may not have been located.
The Section identifiers must be typed with spelling and spacing as found in the index, but they are not case-sensitive.
Note the following anomalies for entering the zeros in lot numbers: If the lot number begins with a zero or a number of zeroes, please use the number only [i.e. for 078 type 78]. If the lot number begins with zeroes followed by a dash and more numbers, please use the full text for searching lot number on this page. [i.e. for 001-07 type 001-07]
If you get too many results searching on Section and Lot Number, then add the Surname to the search.
The search box at the top right of the table will search any field. Enter only one search term. Wild cards are not available, but you can truncate the search term to search for part of a word or number.
